Computex so far has been a Windows 8 affair, but today Acer just scored a massive brownie point for Android with its Iconia Tab A110, which runs the latest version of Android and also comes with a Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and more importantly will cost less than $200. According to
the Verge, the device could also be the first beneficiary of Nvidia’s Kai program which aims at creating sub $200 quad core Android tablets.
Coming to the specs, the device flaunts a 7-inch display with a resolution 1280×800 pixels, 1GB of RAM, HDMI connectivity, a front facing camera, and a MicroSD card slot. While we have not seen such a reasonably priced quad core tablet before, one must note that Asus had also unveiled Eee Pad MEMO ME370T at CES, which also flaunted a quad core Tegra 3 chip at $249.
