Apple releases iOS 6 beta 2 to developers

Apple started seeding iOS 6 beta 2 to developers. The second beta of Apple’s upcoming version of iOS platform fixes certain bugs, mostly related to keyboard. It includes fixes to the keyboards clicking sound while fast typing as well as an issue faced by some where the keyboard would be positioned wrongly when shifting from portrait to landscape more.
We are also told it fixes an issue that the Springboard would crash if a call was on a speakerphone or headphones if the screen went black. It is also said to add podcasts into iTunes app on iOS, which was missing in the first beta leading to rumors that Apple would delink podcasts from iTunes and create a separate app on iOS. However, we did not find podcasts integrated with iTunes on an iPhone 4 running iOS 6 beta 2. We also noticed that the gears icon (visible in the screenshot above) is now animated and the gears rotate while downloading. Could this indicate live icons coming to iOS in the future?
Of course, none of these issues would plague end users as iOS 6 is only available to developers at the moment and is being worked upon till it gets launched later this year, most probably along with the next generation iPhone.
