Sony rebrands PlayStation Suite to PlayStation Mobile, signs up HTC as first OEM

At its E3 press conference that ended minutes ago, Sony announced it has tied up with HTC as the first non-Sony manufacturer to bring the PlayStation Suite to its Android smartphone. Sony has also rebranded PlayStation Suite to PlayStation Mobile, indicating their might be more such tie-ups lined up (or at least hopes of more deals).
If you recall, there were rumors about HTC signing up for PlayStation Suite during the build-up to MWC earlier this year but obviously the deal was not announced then. With this deal in place, HTC smartphones that get PlayStation Certified would be able to get PlayStation games that have been optimized for mobile devices. Which HTC devices will get it is something that has not been revealed but we would be surprised if the One X and One S don’t get the certification.
