Box releases Windows Phone app, signs pre-load deal with Qualcomm

Leading cloud storage service, Box, today released a Windows Phone version of its mobile app. Through the app, users can not only store and retrieve files from the service but also comment and read comments in case the files are shared with others. Considering it is Windows Phone, users can also pin a live tile to the home screen and get updates whenever someone comments on their files.
Box also announced a partnership with Qualcomm that will have the Box app pre-loaded on select Android and Windows Phone devices. Currently Qualcomm remains the sole chipset vendor for Windows Phone. With this tie-up Box would also be offering its paid OneCloud Android app as well as promotional offers to qualifying devices.
