From the spec sheets, we can confirm this is clearly a high-end device which will definitely compete with the likes of the HTC One X, the Samsung Galaxy S III and the LG Optimus 4X HD. The device features a 4.6-inch display with a 720p resolution and a mobile Bravia engine, a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, a 13-megapixel camera which can shoot 1080p video, microSD card slot, NFC, micro-SIM, and a 720p front facing camera.
Design wise, the Xperia Mint drops the transparent element seen in the Xperia NXT series of devices and more importantly adopts the virtual Android keys seen in the Galaxy Nexus. The build of the device that has been leaked was running Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich.
While specs wise, the device is sure to impress the onlooker, Mobile-Review.com has noted a few flaws in the device. First it states, the wow factor we have seen in displays on the Galaxy S III and the HTC One X was clearly missing and the power and volume keys were positioned in a very awkward bottom right corner.
Having said that, we will not jump to conclusions as this is clearly a prototype device, and it is quite plausible that the final device will be a more refined product. In the meanwhile, hit the read link for more details on the Xperia Mint.
