Alleged next generation 9-pin Apple dock connector cable leaked

For sometime we have known that the next Apple iPhone will drop the current 30-pin dock connector in lieu for a smaller 9-pin connector which also perhaps provide for faster data transfers. iLounge has posted an image of an Apple sync cable that seems to have been made for the new smaller dock connector.
If this image is credible then this is perhaps the dock connector Apple is supposedly planning to ship with the iPhone, the rumored iPad mini and also the new iPods.
