has launched the MF50 3G Pocket Wi-Fi Router in India for Rs 5,800. The
router is basically a HSPA USB modem with a LCD display that can
connect to the internet via USB interface or provide a Wi-Fi signal. As
it is a mobile hot-spot, the device works with GPRS/EDGE/WCDMA/HSPA
networks and supports multi-mode wireless terminals for SOHO and
businesses.
The Wi-Fi router has an in-built signal
booster and has a download speed of 14.4 mbps and an upload speed of
5.76 mbps. Additionally, the device can connect up to 10 different
devices. Other features of the Wi-Fi router include a simplistic web
based interface for set-up, a 1,500 mAh battery and expandable memory up
to 32GB.
