Samsung starts taking pre-orders for Galaxy Note 10.1 in India

Samsung has started taking pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 10.1 on its e-store for Rs 2,000. The Galaxy Note 10.1 was officially announced earlier this month and Samsung said that it would ship the product globally later this month. While Samsung did not talk about an India release, looks like it is keeping good on its word according to Flamboyz. Samsung is even hosting an event later in the day in the US for the product’s official unveil.
If one prebooks the tablet now via the Samsung e-store, Samsung will provide a free bookcover worth Rs 3,249.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 features a quad-core Exynos processor clocked at 1.4GHz, 1GB of RAM, a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels, a S-Pen stylus/digitizer, windowed multitasking, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 1.9-megapixel front facing camera. The tablet runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, which has Samsung’s custom TouchWiz Nature UX running on top.
Additionally, the device will be available in three memory variants 16GB, 32GB and 64GB along with a microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB of memory. Having said that, the model Samsung India is taking pre-orders for is the 16GB version and there is no word on the other memory variants. To pre-order it now hit the link.
