Nimbuzz to relocate global HQ to India: Report

Dutch instant messaging and calling app Nimbuzz is planning to relocate its global headquarters to India, if a report from the Economic Times is to be believed. India accounts for a fifth of their total market with 90 million customers hailing from India.
The report also says that, Nimbuzz is restructuring of its top deck, appointing Indians in key positions earlier held by Dutch nationals. These include the appointment of Vikas Saxena, a former top executive at Aircel, as the CEO of its India operations. Saxena will reportedly replace co-founder Evert Jaap Lugt, who has been named chairman of the company. Nimbuzz is increasing its focus on India and the relocation of its HQ to India is a part of its increased focus towards India, where it hugely popular.
