Reliance Communications updates 3G plans

After Airtel and Idea, Reliance Communications has follow suit and introduced new affordable 3G plans for its customers. With the new plans, customers will get 1GB of data at Rs 250 per month and 2GB of data at Rs 450 per month. This new plan matches , what Airtel and Idea are offering.
In addition to this, Reliance is offering a plan called ‘Best Plan’ which will offer users 6GB of data for a flat rate if Rs 1,250 and once the user crosses the 6GB data cap, the speed will be throttled, though the user will be able to enjoy internet.
Another facet of this plan is that if a user uses say 2.5GB of data so he gets charged Rs 250 for 1GB and the rest 1.5GB the user pays at Rs 0.2 per MB which amounts to Rs 300 in this case, totaling up to Rs 550.
While Reliance Communications is not offering as many plans as say an Airtel or Idea, it does make up for the dearth of plans via its innovative ‘Best Plan’ and at the same time it matches the price point of the popular 1GB and 2GB plans. In meantime, check out the Reliance data plan chart below.
