Angry Birds Space nails 100 million downloads in 76 days

Rovio, the developer of popular mobile game Angry Birds has announced on Twitter that its latest game, Angry Birds Space had reached 100 million downloads in just 76 days. Earlier, the company had revealed that the game had reached 50 million downloads in 35 days and by that it looks like the game has doubled the same number of downloads in 41 days.
The Angry Birds franchise has incredible momentum behind it. The original game has already been downloaded more than 1 billion times when one combines the number from Android, iOS, Windows and Mac OS X, and the third game Angry Birds Rio was a movie tie in with the animated movie Rio. Clearly, people cannot have enough of Angry Birds and that can only mean that great things await Rovio.
