Nikon launches the entry level D3200 DSLR in India for Rs 32,250

Nikon has launched the successor to it popular entry level DSLR D3100 in India, which it calls the D3200. The D3200 is quite a comprehensive upgrade over the D3100 and some of its features even rival that of the mid range DSLR, the D5100.
To start things off, the camera features an all-new 24.2-megapixel CMOS sensor and EXPEED 3 image-processing engine that delivers high image quality accompanied by Full HD video capabilities. Notably, this is the same image processing technology used in the high-end full frame D800 and D4 cameras.
The D3200 even offers an improved Guide mode which reduces the learning curve. In addition, a host of new advanced features have been added, including Full HD (1080p) video recording with full time autofocus (AF), 4 frames-per-second (fps) high-speed continuous shooting mode, ISO range from 100 to 6400 prepare the D3200 for low light conditions.
The D3200 uses an 11-point auto focus system and the camera offers manual or automatic exposure control, and a stereo microphone input to attach an optional external microphone such as the compact ME-1 Stereo Microphone.
The D3200 also supports Android based devices, via a Wireless Mobile Adapter WU-1a, hence increasing convenience by ability to transfer images wirelessly and the ability to remotely control shooting via wireless connection. Using the Wireless Mobile Adapter WU-1a, images can be transferred to smartphones running Android 2.3+, tablets running Android 3.0+ and other smart devices via a wireless connection.
The Nikon D3200 is available in two kits, which are AF-S 18-105mm VR Kit Lens at the MRP of Rs 48,950 and AF-S 18-55mm VR Kit Lens at MRP of Rs 37,950. The D3200 Body is priced at Rs 32,250.
